One Cent by Le Renard Rouge
March 14th, 2008 2:11 PM
This task jumped out at me because it seemed very easy. Being a person who values earning what is given, I decided to add a little more to One Cent than what is immediately expected.
Firstly, I wanted to make the penny worth more than face value. I did this by befriending it, telling it about my innocent childhood years, and recounting all of the happy things in the world. This penny was now a 38 year old ray of sunshine, oblivious to any of the hurts and darkness on Earth.
Secondly, I wanted to make the recipient aware of what this penny had become. I wrapped it in a note that gave a small hint about the importance of the penny, bid Monsieur Lincoln farewell, and mailed him.
I really hope that the future possessor of Mr. Lincoln gains all of the benifits I tried to infuse into this amulet of joviality.

Censor the envelope, some people dislike being too open! Welcome to the game!

I'm sure who you are but I presume you're friends with Ignatius. Is this true? And if so, was it him to whom you sent the penny?

Meant to say "I'm not sure" not "I'm sure".

Welcome to the game!
The good vibes infusion was a good touch :)
