Produce Fear In Another Person. by Odette

January 1st, 2008 10:45 AM

INSTRUCTIONS: Produce fear in another person.

This actually was pretty simple. I was performing in the Nutcracker over the past weekend, in what I thought would be a small part. That was until one of the girls hurt herself, and the number of dances I was in doubled. And what about the fear (besides the fear created in me)? It was just the general fear produced in everyone when I said, "Well, I can do these dances...but I don't know if I remember them all...

Fear produced with a completely true statement.

It's kind of hard to tell from the picture. I danced dolls, and the girl who was injured was doing the snow pas de deux and Arabian (among other corps dances). I ended up doing Arabian and the corps dances and another girl did the pas.

I read that "Snow PEAS de deux"... you know, like 2 to a pod...
Having done a play severely injured, I can understand the fear on all sides!
