Everybody loves puppies! by Shea Wolfe
December 19th, 2007 9:16 PM
A little background. Each semester, at finals time, the college I go to has a dog-day stress relief program. What this means is a bunch of alums and people from the area come in with their dogs so students can relieve some stress by hugging a puppy. It's as they say, everyone loves puppies.
Anyhow, the event happened last Monday. I found myself rushing to breakfast due to oversleeping (curse you time and your constraining elements, I'll show you...next era!). I had to pass by a lovely group of dogs in order to ensure I got food. But lo and behold, when I returned after breakfast they were still there. Seeing the perfect oppurtunity to task, I grabbed a friend with a camera and went straight to the nearest unoccupied pair of dogs. These dogs, who's names I later learned as Wilbur and Mia, were currently occupied with chasing each other around barking. This made for interesting effects on their leash holders, but that's neither here nor there.
Anyhow, I finally managed to get down in front of Wilber and started petting him when the unspeakable occured. Wilber moved in to lick me vigorously, but then pounced, knocking me back and at the mercy of the dogs. Their minor dispute forgotten, Mia joined Wilbur in prying the reminants of my breakfast forcefully from my face. What's a dog lover to do.
I had to leave the dogs soon afterwords, but I won't forget what happened that day. No, I'm sure that they'll be back next semester, and I'll be ready. Oh yes, I'll be ready.

Wilber decided that the cinnamon rolls I had for breakfast were the most interesting thing around.

Little did I know their fierce glares were all an act to get me to drop my guard. Notice the team up to try to get the most out of my breakfast.
Very nice :P
Also man that last picture is bringing up too many memories of Super Mario Galaxy ads and Mario's butt.
