Make It Work by Shea Wolfe

So, this task simply called to me for one reason. I have been "making it work" in the most primitive way for the last six months. However, I do not feel that this is a retroactive completion because I still am in arguement with the object in question.
So, what am I talking about anyways? My cell phone.
My poor cell phone doubles as my alarm clock, and as I sleep on a lofted bed, it has taken.... a few... trips to the floor at fairly high speeds. It has also been dropped down several flights of stairs and went a good three months without the back battery cover before I bothered to find it. All in all the phone is a real trooper and has served me well.
Now for what I am making work about it. When I flip open my cell phone about half the time I get my normal background. The other half of the time I get the blank white screen, as can be seen in the picture. My immediate responce upon finding this problem was to hit the phone rapidly until it worked. I just had to show it who was boss and whatnot. Anyways, my method has not failed me yet, at least not when I put a little time into it, and as such I believe it is a great example of making it work.

Yay! It works!

Hitting things is a good way of making them work. I wonder how generally true that is... I think perhaps I will test this.
