I had someone call in to the support desk here a couple days ago who insisted she did not have a computer. She said that she had the new kind which was just a monitor with a keyboard that magically did not need anything else, and as such she could turn the monitor on and off, but could not reboot the computer as there was not one. I eventually got her to admit that she did have a laptop off in the corner but she "never used it." This laptop, of course, turned out to be in a docking station, and was what she was using. I then got to explain how to find the power button, which began with introducing her to the concept that it could in fact be opened and had a screen and keyboard inside.
