INSTRUCTIONS: Propose a way that SF0.org can be improved.

Your proposition can then be debated in the "Comments" below, and it can be voted for.

The proposal with the most votes will be implemented. This is not subject to approval by the administrators of this site.

I have three ideas that might be of discussion.

1.) Enable high level players (level 8 or 7) to be able to do low-ranking tasks for other schools. For instance, a Level 7 UoE player can do a Humanitarian level 1 task by himself. Being in the school of UoA is fun, and I know I will not do well in any other school, but I find myself interested in a lot of tasks from other schools too. I feel like a undergrad at college again. I know one of the counterarguments is that a player can do tasks in other schools if they have friends to collaborate with, but I'm saying another avenue can be enjoyable.

2.) Put a little more into the "BEFOE" option. I really think that it's underused. I think SFzero is one of the few online communities, if not only community, that have an option like that. And it seems like the Villian has capitalized on it. Perhaps we can set alignment levels (good and evil?) or create tasks that are limited to players that have foes. Anyways, just food for thought.

3.) It seems like a good idea to let players see some of the rejected tasks that they tried to create. It just seems fun to look at the ideas that were not realistic enough or just too hazardous to complete. We can set them all as anonymous - perhaps a gallery of rejected tasks.

Alright that's my little 5 minute time on the soap box. You guys have done a great job, and created a very additive game, and I'm glad to be playing :)

I like the picture... and the seeing rejected tasks idea.

I second that… both motions!

Interesting ideas.

Leveling up to get access to other team's lower level tasks sounds really attractive. (But I've always been one of those kids who doesn't play well with others. . . )

If I may add a very humble fall-back option to #3 - at the very least, it would be neat to give the player who submits a task some indication that it's been submitted, such as email or message center CC, for example.

I suspect that distinguishing between "I thought of that task but never submitted it" and "I submitted that task and it was rejected" is only going to get harder as time goes on.

Don't worry about there not being enough beFoeing happening around SFØ. I'll take care of that.

Oooh, a rejected tasks list...that would be kind of entertaining.

Yeah, I've always been curious to see where my rejected tasks went. I've only ever been able to find one of them.

As for your other ideas, I personally like the limitations of having Groups - it encourages you to collaborate with other players, which can only be a good thing for the spirit of the game.

And I agree that be-foeing is merely a gimmick at the moment, and more could be made of it. Like, you can only collaborate with friends - and with foes you get a compete option instead...

combine couple of these suggestions?

maybe: higher level players can see rejected tasks, even higher level can edit and unreject tasks?

friends and foes given special powers over players' tasks/profiles/other areas of game?

I like the idea of higher level players being able to unreject a task...maybe some of my tasks would get added

My vote doesn't mean any Kyle Hamilton tasks will be added.

Hey, flashes of brilliance can easily gloss over a Mulligan or two.

I agree with both 1) and 2). There are some level 1 and 2 tasks that I would love to do, belonging to other groups, but that don't really require collaboration.

Also, it would be neat if there were some sort of game mechanic behind having foes. That alignment idea is intriguing. (This go-round, I'm Biome-Good. But next, might I be Humanitarian Crisis-Evil?)
