Art Creation Project by Stone Saints

This is the top of my refrigerator. It is art. Like much of the art around us, it's a work in progress, in constant flux and with no intention of ever becoming a fixed piece. I think that many people create this kind of art as they organize the spaces in which they live and work. We place objects in aesthetically pleasing formations (at least pleasing to our own eyes), and often without even thinking about it. The top of my refrigerator is one such space--I have to look at it every day, so I position bread, bottles, pictures, fruit, etc. in a way I won't find, well, ugly or messy. Also, the creator of such art, though perhaps its primary audience, is not its only audience. We often arrange our spaces with others in mind--houseguests, co-workers, etc.--in hopes that our domestic artistic endeavors will be well received by the small publics that view them.
