RAoK/SAoB: the Random Acts of Kindness and Senseless Acts of Beauty Task 2 by Stone Saints

June 29th, 2006 2:52 AM

INSTRUCTIONS: Choose an architectural structure, or other publicly visable object, which is aesthetically unappealing and make it more attractive.

Hm...I didn't mean to do this task, but I accidentally submitted another task under this title before I noticed what I was doing. So I'm filling this one out for the short term, and will do a fresh version of it soon. In the picture below, you see me and my cat, Chathonic, in front of one of the many drawings I made on the walls of the house I rented before moving to CA last year. Other wall-artwork included huge swirls flowing down the stairwell wall, a large face overlooking the stairs from a wall above them, a drawing of a castle on one wall and a bright flower painted on another. The house was supposed to be torn down after I moved out, so I felt free to beautify it as I pleased. But it hasn't been torn down, and they didn't make me paint over my wall-work. I'm not sure if they've found another renter though...

P.S. Here's how I've been fixing holes in the walls of my current apartment...
