My sentence was, "A shark swims through the sunken ship." My favorite "translation" was the one that went from English to French to German to English: "A shark fish swims by rinse-embarks."
I used two online translators, FreeTranslation and Babel Fish. In FreeTranslation, my shark ended up doing nothing by a submerged boat. In Babel fish, the shark turned into a shark fish and, eventually, a fish of sharks. But he kept swimming.
Here's the process:

English: A shark swims through the sunken ship.

To German: Ein tiburón nichts durch das untertauchte Boot.
