Food Art Installation by Stone Saints

July 3rd, 2006 4:37 PM

INSTRUCTIONS: Install food-art.

A lamp shade decorated with coffee beans, egg shell, a mint tea bag, rosemary, cinnamon, garlic skin peels, and painted with a mixture of instant coffee, vanilla extract and water. It's a pretty nice smelling shade, at least...

Hard to imagine a good smelling Food Art Installation. Yum. Actually utilitarian and aesthetically pleasing as well. I dig it.

Where did you install it?

At first (and in the picture) I installed it in my bedroom on the bedside table. But now it's installed in my kitchen, which feels like a more appropriate place for food art--especially since I didn't know if it would attract small unwelcome guests, which I'd rather rid from the kitchen than my bedroom.
