Buy A Stranger A Drink by Tamarina

Monday night I was at John Colins with some friends from work (a couple of them cross the line into Real Life friends). I was on my first Fat Tire when into the bar walks that ultimate dreamboat of a man, Matt Gonzalez. Girls, he's even more scrumptious now than in his running-for-mayor days.
Anyway, he and his friends took their seats behind me, and I struggled not to turn around and stare at him to the point where he'd be forced to flee. Ken Dragon reminded me about Buy A Stranger A Drink, but at first I didn't think I could do it; Matt was with three other people, and I didn't want to barge in like some dowdily-dressed groupie.
Finally two of his companions went to the bar, so I went over and told them I'd like to buy Matt a drink, and asked what he was drinking (Patron). The guys introduced themselves (Whitney and Brian, both very nice) and returned to their table, and I procured the drink and walked over. I handed the glass to Matt and he said something like "You're buying me a drink?" and proceeded to be very gracious. I felt like a complete idiot, and was sweating like a fiend, but it was probably a character-building experience. I guess. Anyway, I helped Matt catch a buzz, which is a happy thought.
...but they left while I was in the bathroom, so of course in true paranoid fashion, I have to assume they were making a well-timed escape...
Oh, Ken took a photo with his phone, but something went awry and it's just a big blur. So no photo proof, I'm afraid.
