The Mystery Photo by ThaJinx

I started this task yesterday while waiting for Julia to get out of class so that we could do the Seeing Beyond Sight Photo Challenge, using the time to head down to a nearby Kinkos to print a photo. I decided to use my friend Dave, who lives in Oregon, because the chances of a downtown Boise local knowing him seemed pretty slim to me. After the photo printed, I decided it was a little too fresh looking, so in the lower right corner of the back I wrote:
I then folded it up, creased it, stuck it in my pocket, and walked around downtown for a few hours.
On the walk, I'd occasionally pull the photo from my pocket to open, close, and re-crease the photo to give it a pretty clear line of wear, and I eventually held it to a brick wall and rubbed at it as though it were sandpaper to get some deep scratches and scrapes into it. I had originally planned on making the drop somewhere at the Flying M Coffee House because people that study there are usually okay walking away from their homework for a few minutes, but I didn't have any bites, so I spent the rest of the evening blindly stumbling around and taking non-photos with the picture wadded up in my pocket.
I got home from work this evening to find all my roommates home and in their respective rooms; out on the living room table was a study guide for a business class exam, and on the arm of the couch was its accompanying book, entitled The Legal Environment of Business. Jackpot. Rather than try to snap off photos, I just turned on the video function and made quick work of the plant, putting the photo in a spot about three quarters of the way through the book. Video is, of course, attached below.

Source photo used for this particular task. I printed it at a local Kinkos, folded it in half, scratched it against pavement, wore out the crease, and carried it around in my pocket for a day to wear on it.
