I recently was over at a friend's house watching House Party 4. (a landmark piece of cinimatic delight) In this movie, there is a scene in which the main character is on the phone with his mother pretending to be ill. Of course, he is not, for he is just getting out of school to throw a box social of sorts.

It had been a LONG day by this point, and my friends laughed at the movie. I was completely silent through this scene. When they asked me why i was staying so slient, I realized that I was trying to not make any noise so that the character's mom wouldn't hear laughing in the background and figure out that he wasn't really sick.

Yeah.
