Player Photo Anagrams by Voo
July 20th, 2008 9:04 AMThe problem with having an adorable 3-letter player name is that it only has three letters and therefore doesn't really lend itself to anagramming. I lucked out, man, seriously. Check it out:
"Voo" becomes "ovo," which is...
1) Latin for egg.

2) "Ovo" is also a soundtrack for the Millennium Dome Show in London that was composed by Peter Gabriel. It was released August 29, 2000 and features guest vocals by Neneh Cherry, Rosco, Richie Havens, Elizabeth Fraser and Paul Buchanan (of The Blue Nile). (From Wikipedia)

3) "Ovo" is also a prefix that describes a particular type of diet, "ovo-vegetarian" or "ovo-lacto-vegetarian" meaning someone who eats only vegetables and eggs or only vegetables, eggs, and milk (respectively). Not many vegetarians identify as simply "ovo-vegetarian" as you can see from this graph.

According to this survey (from blackvegetarians.org) ovo-vegetarians apparently make up 0% of polled vegetarians, but ovo-lacto-vegetarians are 32% of polled vegetarians.
So, what to create? I like meat far too much to create a new ovo-lacto-vegetarian in myself. And though I took piano for 10 years and guitar for 3 years, I don't think I could create a Peter Gabriel album.
I decided to create an origami egg. I found instructions online and created my egg. I then decorated it like an Easter egg just for kicks.

I presented my handiwork to my husband and asked him to give it a title. He declared it to be "Toothy Egg."
Success! He recognized it as an egg!
Once he named it, I decided to crack open my egg and see what, if anything, was inside. Yes, I know it's just an origami egg that I folded out of paper...but don't you believe in magic? I do. So I grabbed a scissors and cut a jagged "cracked shell" edge across the middle of my egg.

Behold! My egg had life inside it! It appears that my egg, if incubated and hatched properly, would have grown up to be....a large amount of confetti! See the small amount of confetti I found as evidence of the budding life inside the egg (which I snuffed out).

Finally, the anagram of "Player Photo Anagrams" that is the title of my proof is....
*drumroll* A Phantasmal Porgy Roe!
(Phantasmal because of the ghost confetti. And porgy roe is a type of fish egg. Perfect!)
So..."Voo" may only lend itself to one lonely little anagram, but that little anagram has 3 kickass meanings! Ovo Power! And, as always, Voo Power!

WTF? I typed it all up and it's not there in my proof. Weird. I'll retype it. Thanks, good catch!
edited to add: There, I fixed it! I think I must have deleted those parts when I was adding the pictures of the origami egg. I usually write everything out then go back in and slip pics in where they belong best. Must have highlighted too much when I was replacing a picture placeholder with an image link. Thanks again!
Who titled your egg/confetti, and what was it titled?
>>I presented my handiwork to my husband and asked him to give it a title. He declared it to be "Toothy Egg."
See above. You can find this bit of information directly under the first Origami Egg picture.
Oh- missed that! Apologies- I think though, the second anagram was to be the anagram of the title awarded by your hubby!
Actually, I think your anagram of the task title came out very cool, though.
...snazzy, but where's the second half of the task?
