The reason I'm here is a girl called spacebug and her efforts in MN0's PuzzleQuest #1 at the end of May. She and I are friends in real life, and we have a lot of really close friends in common. It was through these friends that I heard about MN0PQ1 and I signed up for it. With a few clicks and an inquisitive mind, I ended up here at SF0. I've been clam-happy ever since.
Add to that the fact that spacebug is super gorgeous and is so effortlessly. I've never seen her not look amazing. She has the best eyebrows and eyes...and her hair is always super pretty. So it wasn't hard for me decide whom I wanted to paint.
I took the task's suggestion and based my painting on her player photograph. I used Photoshop's paint feature because I don't do well with actual paint. (I'm so clumsy; I always end up ruining something with the paint.) It was pretty difficult because A) I don't draw well and B) I'm using a laptop with a touchpad to do the work.
So here's my best effort. In order to be all artistic and take advantage of Photoshop's features, I decided to try all the filters on my drawing to see if any looked interesting. The water paper feature found under the sketch menu turned out best, so I'm including it here.
So thank you, spacebug, for hooking me up with this fabulous place that has me completely in its thrall. And damn you, spacebug, for delivering unto me this all-encompassing obsession with SF0.
