I chose the San Jacinto Monument at the San Jacinto battle field in Houston, TX. I picked this site because it is close to home, but also because we have a huge hispanic culture in the Houston area and it seems as if through out the years Texans have celebrated Texas Independence Day less and less to be political correct. I remember how we would have a big celebration every year at school for Texas independence, but since I have been a sub I've seen that the schools don't seem to celebrate it as much any more. The biggest problem I have is how people do not completely understand Texas Independence and that it was more than just some white guys trying to steal land from Mexico. There were several Mexicans who were a part of Texas' Independence.

Thank you for fighting for the freedom of Texas from the evil dictator Santa Anna. Too bad that things have gotten so political correct that we no longer have a huge Texas indepence (sic) day celebration for fear of pissing of the hispanic comminuty (sic). If people would just learn Texas history they will find out there were just as many Tejanos as anglos that fought for independence.

Yes, it is too bad that things are political correct. It would be much better if things were political incorrect. Must be all the pissing. Comminuty pissing by Hispanics is very scary.
See, no comments about spelling.
Potentially good, except no one can easily see what the letter says.
