Unfortunately it was a beautiful day and the park was filled with interlopers. Joe doesn't like people and stressed that secrecy was paramount for what he kept calling the mission.

Not seen is this picture is the mass infestation of squirrels found around all these rocks.
Modern Ruins
the far point past crab cove seems to be made up of concrete taken from previous demolitions.
emmas big on the pig
continuing down the far edge, the upkeep of the park gets shoddier and shoddier. finally at the very edge we find an acceptable clearing.
upright at last
it was just a scrap length of wood from a big box store sprayed blackish grey. but it was ours, and it served a purpose. (and it was like over 6feet long too!) we couldn't dig the hole more then half a foot as at that point the dirt turned to rock. the entire clearing we were standing on was man made.
mark it a 4 dude
a check of the inferior clock (batteries, ha!) tells us that construction was completed at 4pm
Whoa!
having some time to kill we went out on the breakers, the very tip of the park. on the way there we found a dead shark being eaten away by small insects. emma picked it up. joe was grossed out.
end of the day
losing sunlight meant an end to the day. sadly we went back to the park today, just two days later, and it was removed. not knocked over, not thrown aside, but removed. dug up. missing. sad.

Nice! That's an awesome shark, and proper tasking, this.
