Ya, i thought i had sort of made it up, but then looked it up, and autofiction has already been coined in the parlance of literary criticism. Anyway, i pretty much sustain my emotional ability to deal with life by creating myself as a character rather than trying to fulfill any real personal development in a normal way. It doesn't feel nearly as crazy as this last paragraph suggests. Basically, if i couldn't do this, i'd probably be too scared to do a lot of things. And that's just lame.
