INSTRUCTIONS: Pull something still of value - as itself or as a part of something greater - out of a dumpster or trash receptacle. Use it, and provide appropriate proof.

(Note: No points awarded for picking up stuff left on street corners and curbs around the city; it must be liberated from an actual trash receptacle.)

This is actually how I have gotten the majority of my furniture. My bedroom have a beautiful and huge mirror. We have two end tables and a matching coffee table, their only crime seeming to be that they were no longer convenient. All pulled from the several dumpsters in my apartment complex.
