YellowBear:
This is a little photo journal of my trip to the airport.
I should preface these photos by telling you that I knew one of my friends was getting onto a plane in NY. She had been gone for more than a week, out tasking around Pennsylvania and exploring New York. As the flight was being delayed I recieved a frantic phone call. My dear friend has recently become less than enthusiastic about flying and was in the grip of some intense airport anxiety. Factors have come together, both aviational and inter-personal, to make this return flight one of dread. Knowing that the next 5 hours would most likely be a trying situation, a smile inducing task completion is in order. We didn't have a formal pick-up plan, all i knew was the flight number, so i decided that rather than the standard late night airport pickup at the curb, I would do this...
Rainbow Bright:
So...I was that friend that was panicking on the airplane. I've been flying alone since I was six years old, so it's really annoying that I've started having panic attacks. Luckily YellowBear was reachable via phone as I was on the tarmack debating whether or not I was going to flee the plane. It's good thing that he did or it would have been a bust for the tasking. Just a little bit of good conversation and two Xanax and I was good to go....drooling by 10,000 feet. I awoke to hear "welcome to san francisco."

The pedestrian detour tells you to go down? Were you supposed to crawl under the sign?
hooray for moons over my hammy!
