Point Of View by Stuart Camenzind

First, I wanted to experience Jeff Davis's point of view. He's my history teacher. Now this is more of a symbolic interpretation, but I learned something. To simulate his feeling of being above everyone else, I stood on a pedestal. To simulate his blindness to other people's feelings and idea, I wore a blindfold. Now standing on the pedestal alone wasn't difficult. Wearing the blindfold was not that difficult. But standing on a pedestal while blindfolded is VERY difficult. I had to attempt the picture 4 times because I kept falling. I learned that Jeff must have incredible balance and perseverance to be able to pull off his feat of egocentricity and insensitivity. I know have a new found respect for him. Kudos to you Jeff Davis.
As a more literal approach, I wanted to see what it is like to be blind, so I spray-painted the lenses of wrap around sunglasses black. I proceeded to wear these around my house and yard for a few hours. Hilarity ensued as I ran into walls, poles and furniture.

Very interesting. It makes you think, doesn't it?
