I found this old trading terminal from Cantor Fitzgerald in a reseller/liquidator wharehouse space up Elston in Chicago. It was probably 5000sqft of incredibly miscellaneous stuff, handbags and office chairs and boxes of candles and beads, all run by a ragtag crew of what looked to be recent NorthWestern business school graduates, out to cut their teeth with a first hustle--which was buying and selling absolutely anything. There was a cardboard box junked full of old keyboards, random peripherals, credit card readers, and this. It was all free, I can't say why.. they kept talking about 'throughput'. We took two of the card readers and later pulled numbers off them (pswd factory default = 0000). (by the way, WORK IS SO STRANGE)
I really like the terminal. I need an old dc 9v converter to power it up, then hopefully I can find some drivers and remap the keyboard to play emulated video games with it. Or make a derranged unqwerty keyboard. The things I can do with five buy and five sell buttons. Note also The Key Intentionally Left Blank, aka 'dump the junk bonds.' I've been in sort of a lull as far as finding things, was holding out for something more awesome but whateva, this looks fun.

yeah, I also really like "CXL ALL"... total amnesia, there is only the future. and there are four of them.
"Market History" is the best keyboard button I've ever seen.
I'm kind of imagining that when I hit it I'll get a dot-matrix printout of Limits of Capital.
