Ethereal Cartography by Ela Tesla

INSTRUCTIONS: Make a map of something that does not exist physically.

I decided to make a map of the setting to a book I've been working on for a few years. Its set (mostly) on an island, inside the home of one of the main characters.

The island is called Valhalla, as it is home to warriors who have died (or were believed to have been dead).

Within The House, there are five floors (only three are drawn because I don't know what the other two look like). The First Floor is basically a common area, living room, kitchen, dining, sitting room, etc. The Second Floor is living areas and a common room for the younger residents. The Third Floor is nothing but books, books, books. The fourth and fifth floors are living areas and common rooms for the adults.

The House is located near the north end of the island, in the middle of the Forest of the Dead, not far from the Rocky Cliff Face. Farther north and to the west is Sandy Beaches. Situated to the south, are the Great Mountains, the tallest of which houses the Temple of Ruins.

Enjoy.
