Language "Encryption" by alice gray

INSTRUCTIONS: Using online translation tools, "encrypt" some text (that you write or find) by translating it multiple times into different languages and then back into English.

For instance, "The drive to play San Francisco Zero" translated from English to German to French to Italian to English again becomes "The order of Saint game Francisco".

Let's begin with something substantial and recognized, like the first sentence of the Gettysburg Address. As you know, it goes like this:
"Four score and seven years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent a new nation, conceived in liberty and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal. "

Running it through this series of translations:
English to Dutch to French to Portuguese back to English produces this:
"Festejar to enter and seven years our suffered parents had ahead brought a new nation on this continent taken in the freedom and consecrated in the proposal that all the people gecreeerde are equal."

Somehow not satisfactory. As someone else pointed out, in Altavista's Babelfish translator, only English and French have more than one linked language. I doubt many of the others are better. BUT! what happens if we use more than one translator program?

English to Chinese (traditional) by babelfish.altavista.com
Chinese (traditional) to Russian by worldlingo.com (the most versatile-looking site)
Russian to Spanish by translation2.paralink.com
Spanish to French by localtranslation.com/
French to Dutch by appliedlanguage.com
Dutch to English by systranbox.com

RESULT:
"He does our père brought to 87 years in this country mainland new, he
rather ravnost include lives in and dedicate to offer, but."

I am disappointed in appliedlanguage.com for not recognizing the French word for "father." Translation2.paralink has dropped a word as well. And somehow the whole thing got a great deal shorter. Though it's interesting that the archaic math got done sometime, and right too.

Sticking with just worldlingo.com
English -> Chinese (trad.) -> Russian -> Spanish -> Dutch yields this:
"4 calculations 7 years suffered our father even brought the new country in one of the continent, but they understand within rather and they dedicate to proposal equality of living."

Vaguely recognizable, and with much of the original concept still evident.
