Love the Skin You're In by ambitron indifornian

INSTRUCTIONS: In honor of The Naked Guy, who recently passed away, the task is to engage in public nudity. Photographic proof may be edited, if you wish, but should be submitted.

i took a photoshoot naked near sutros tower...but this one is the one that turned out the best.

it was public...but, i can understand that its not obvious. ill post more pictures soon.

so if what oliver x is implying applies, then photos on the internet can be considered a public place, right? coz anyone can get to them. so in that case:

in any case, ill post more technically "nude in a REAL public place" soon.

that doesn't really show that it's public nudity.. i mean, it's outside.. yhou can see sky.. but for all we can see you could be in a secluded back yard or in the country or something.

I think I detect a ploy by star5 to get more pictures. At any rate, it's public now.

Actually, I think that most of the challenge is being naked in a place where the social norm is not to be. So while I think that putting pictures on the internet can count as "public", it's not the same as walking down the street naked. Similarly, I think pictures from Burning Man or a nude beach or similar are less to the point of this task.

Wow, so this is posting a link to photos on the internet to bolster proof that a photo on the internet is on the internet? No, wait, I think I have that wrong...

Anyway, I'd say that "public" means someone might reasonably see the subject of the photos at any moment. It's worth considering that no one else has even gone the internet/public route, but I get the sense that it would be more uncomfortable strutting around in public than posting the pictures afterwards. Maybe.

Should half nude really count?

So we've touched on the question concerning the "public" part of "public nudity", but what about, "nudity" part? Does half naked (topless) count? Does half naked only count for women? I would say these photos are lacking in both the public and the nudity part.
