Yesterday was a good tasking day. The fabric shop on the Mission became my destination for the completion of the strip map task. I had been there before for halloween costume makings, and knew that I wanted to go back and have a good old feel up of the faux fur for this task. I was strangely drawn to the pink fur, which is weird because I really don't like pink. Not wanting to look like I was molesting this one type of fabric too much, I tried out other fabrics to see if they could compare. Velvet is nice but not as wild, more conservative. Lace feels like Miss Havisham. Fleece is a close second, but lacks the feeling that you are hugging a giant, friendly furry creature. If you are into Furries, this would be the place to go. The shop staff are wonderful, they are always singing and so very helpful. I ended up buying blue sparkle organza for my room, which doesn't feel fantastic, but looks it.
