Make A Task: The Task by crzy bones

July 8th, 2006 4:50 AM

INSTRUCTIONS: Make a task for the game San Francisco Zero. To add a task:

1) Go to your character page. You know, your home base (click your photo in the upper right once you're logged in).

2) Look in the second row of navigation up at the top. Click "add task".

3) You'll be taken to a form where you can name and describe your task, give it a location in SF (if it's location-based), assign it to one of the five groups (or "general"), and suggest a required score and the number of points the task awards.

4) You can add more than one task - they'll all be listed on your home page - but you can only get these 30 points once.

Once you add your task, you can complete this task. We'll make this automatic one of these days...

the task crzy bones created is called Robinson Crusoe and she reccomended it go to the humanitarian crisis

Imagine life your life alone, Completely cut off from the outside world. For one week do not use your cell phone. Also cut all communication i.e. messanger, email, telephone, etc. See how long you last and report how you feel after cutting the embilical cord to the cell phone.

The world we live in is dependant on cell phone usage. However, cell phones are simply complicating our lives. I would like to see how people would respond to turning them off...i think they would like the freedom.

check it ya hear, jesus told me ya would

So, someone felt my robinson crusoe task was a bit too much like the task where you cut off a singular form of electronic communication for 3 days and then over identify with it...whatever that means. But crusoe was not a task about communication, it was a task to look into the dependacny on cell phones and the freakish nature to which people are ALWAYS on their cell phones. The task was designed so that the player would cut their "embilical cord" so to speak from the cell phone and decide whether they like the changes that not being connected to the cell phone consist of...but whatever...two new task recently...
