It took me a long time to come up with a secret message, but I am happy with the one i settled on. I used a pretty simple cipher. Bonus points to the player that decodes it first.
I decide to install my messages during my lunch break. The problem was that it meant there would be a lot of people around, but that was part of the fun. it was easy to hide them without being noticed, what was difficult was getting the pictures. I had to use my phone, thus the terrible photo quality.

this is my secret message. bonus points to the first player to decode it
messages ready to go
i printed 3 copies, folded them into 3" squares and taped them.
message 1 - window ledge
i left the first one on a window ledge outside the post office. 
message 2 - smokers bench
this one i slid behind a smokers bench in an ally
last message - planter in the skyway
the last one I tucked in a planter in the skyway on the way back to my building.
did anyone figure this out?
