INSTRUCTIONS: Document plant motion.

One cold and windy night I set out to document plant movement.

The idea was to take long exposure photographs showing tree branches moving back and forth. I picked a tree with skinny branches in the courtyard of our residential unit. I was hoping that having a high F stop and shooting the leaves moving against the solid background of the buildings would make the blur stand out more versus the stationary buildings, but that approach sort of failed and the best pictures I got were against the black sky.
I wonder what effect a strobe light would have...
