For Christmas I made a book for my Fiancee, now the actual base was an A4 sized hard backed book which was painted in gold leaf and other colours.

I then wrote accounts of my time with my fiancee from the day we first met (back at the end of August 2008) till late December. Each page was written with a quil pen on parchment which was then added in order to the book. Between accounts were added letters she had sent to me and spaces were left for letters I sent her (she lives in Croydon and I live a 4 hour journey away on the Isle of Wight!). Pressed flowers and pictures were also added and the whole book was sealed with ribbon and wax.

Her reaction made this well worth the effort taken!
