Reality Postcards Bart PA by Britt ++

I printed up some postcards on Cafepress (my employer) with a picture of an apartment fire as seen from my street in Portrero hill. You can see column of black smoke rising against the city skyline (WARNING: I'm not much of a photographer).

I sent postcards to my parents, my sister and a number of friends. I think some pictures of the homeless in Civic Center or the more exotic denizens of the Haight or the Castro might paint a more realistic picture of San Francisco life, but the SUV in the foreground nicely exemplifies my neighborhood. We look down the hill onto other people's problems.
