Stick Figure in Peril by The Villain

August 13th, 2007 1:50 PM

INSTRUCTIONS: Document a stick figure in peril.

- smaller

Run, little stick figure, run!

Run, little stick figure, run!

Adobe spells death to all stick figures, and general doodling as we know it. We must rise up! We must defend our dimensionally-disabled compadres! Together now -- grab a pen, grab a scrap of paper, and doodle! Doodle your hearts out! Doodle your little fingers numb!

I can doodle, but still; I LOVE PHOTOSHOP!!

If you hadn't already issued a glove slap to the hero I'd propose a doodleathon twix ourselves!

Grrrr...

doodling is fun and all.

But teaching yourself how to use photoshop, now that, that is an adventure!

Photoshop is actually very user-friendly. But we'll forgive you.

Messing with traditional photography, now that is an adventure:

Meta tron: by the way, that is a beautiful sketch of our upcoming duel!

traditional photography?
sounds like fun.
How traditional are we talking about here?

Challenge.

The photograph you see above was taken using the antique 8x10 Deardorff viewfinder camera that you see in the mirror; no digital effects were used to alter the image.

[that is me at the trigger release, less the moustache]

I suggest starting with a 35mm SLR, black/white negative film - try Ilford's Delta 400. Remember to use good fiber paper. And have fun!

Also, Pinhole photography is a blast.

Hey look, I finally spelt your name right!

I didn't notice you spell it wrong

Oh, but I spelt yours wrong, apologies.
Your photo is brilliant, makes me wistful for a camera with film in it!

So am I right in assuming you're challenging me to a photographic duel? or is this a open invitation?

Uh oh

I uhh... I guess it's an open invitation to make more traditional photography in general...

I didn't mean to umm... propose that we should have a duel of photographs...

unless you want to.

phew!

No way! I'd have no hope!

You are so duelable, I almost feel bad that no one else will get that honor. You make it so easy, and so satisfying, to be on the Good Guy team...

Maybe you could do it for the Dada Match?
