Documentary Defiance by Rrose Selevay

INSTRUCTIONS: Document something you are prohibited from documenting.

I went to the Met for this task because I mistakenly thought photos weren't allowed there. Turns out they are, but there was a special exhibit of Victorian colleges, and photos weren't allowed there. The exhibit itself is really cool, if you're in NY you should check it out. It shows private photo albums that people (mostly women) decorated with collage. It's a very small exhibit, which made it difficult to take photos. I could only manage to take them in one corner of the room which was just barely out the guard's sight.

My favorite is the picture of the "No Photography" sign.
