Order by: date ↑ - rating ↑i love that this is mirror image, like my portrait of you.
i am astounded by how nice this makes me feel.
pretty sure one of the saddest things in my life is knowing that this is painted over.
maybe i haven't read snow crash recently enough to get this
yeah that's the same as the song i made up, right down to rhyming with texas
i taught this to myself when i was 4 or 5 and can still do it. teucer, did the version you memorized have you sing W really fast so it fits in the space that D does in the normal song?
i think the song can work both ways, with the first line either scanning
Z Y X dubya V U T
or
Z Y X doub-le-you V
that is the only unreasonable thing about this task
this would be hard, because you'd pretty much have to start this task before you could sign up for it unless you made it a level 1 task
i was thinking about this task just today, and was like, really, you'd have to be nearly deaf to hear stockhausen and bach and not be able to tell the difference. and if you'd ever heard classical music before surely you would be able to guess which one was bach. then i ate a sandwich.
Restless
"There's trees in the desert since you moved out,
and I don't sleep in a bed of bones"
--Buffy Summers
It gets better. This isn't
an apocalypse, it's a sleepover.
Who remembers how to work
a VCR? Let's make popcorn
and try to look at each other
without laughing. Remember who
liked who sophomore year,
and what the school production was.
Here's the tape of it,
and here is an old yearbook
with your names pinned
in the back like butterflies.
These days we're constantly
keeping in touch and having
great summers, fitting
friendship into our schedules.
We're happier now
that we miss each other.
It's strange, it's not like
anything we've faced before.
