Unfortunately, the other party was not very long winded. I tried to follow their first garbled message, but it was confusing. My attempt to gather more information was rebuked by that damned mailer-daemon.

Evelyne,
Thank you for updating me on Sidonia and Mr. Millbank. I wanted to find out what happened to them ever since the C.A.N.A.D.I.A.N. Authority authorized their release from England.
Lady Everingham's poetry certainly seems to be getting better.
So. How's the new job going?

Not quite as long as I'd hoped. I used to work for an ISP, and we used to have to clear the email support queue's spam by hand, because customers would frequently email in questions about spam without changing the subject. If we had an active spam filter on the support queue, a subject like "RE: Break Through Walls with your c0ck!" would probably not make it through. My favorite was a Nigerian 419 email which was written in a Star Wars theme. I wish I had kept it. I ended up replying, but like Evelyne above, Princess Leia did not send a reply.

Good luck with your future correspondence! If they'd received it, I can't help but think they'd respond to such inquiry.
How do you know you're writing to an Evelyne with a new job?
