Comic-Book Journal Entry 2 - Guest Artist by Sarah Baker, Stone Saints
July 14th, 2006 6:42 PM
Here's the description Sarah Baker gave me of her day:
"so, here was my crazy hectic day for your comic-booking pleasure:
woke up at 9:30 to a wrong number calling me- grrrrrrr
took a quick bath (first of the week, believe it or not ;))
went to blockbuster , got reno 911 and weeds tv series
went to the leisure world liquor store and was almost run over by a man driving his car by standing outside the driver's door and pushing while he steered.
went to shoppers food warehouse and fought the poverty-striken and elderly for the last bag of lemons.
went to the safeway to get things that the shoppers food warehouse didn't have- grrrrr again
picked up the dry cleaning
got chicken out salads for lunch for me and dad
played pool with dad
took the mofo out for a walk
relaxed until J came home with taco bell and flowers!
the end :)
it was a pretty busy one, so i thought you could pick and choose from those things! happy comic-ing!"
I'm not so sure my drawings live up to the excitement. I tried to draw a man driving his car while standing next to it and holding the wheel, but it didn't turn out so well and I was glad to have an eraser...

Here is what I learned from Stone Saints about her day:
Here's mine:
Woke up at 8:30 and read in bed until 9.
Made a delicious breakfast of poached eggs with rosemany butter on toast. (And coffee, of course!)
Took a shower and finally had to shave my legs...hehe.
Went to Target where I got a new outfit, mascara and fingernail polish.
Got home and changed into my new clothes--I can never resist putting new things on right away!
When to Barnes & Noble and bought a book on how to make pop-up art.
Watched Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire while using said new book to practice making pop-ups (fun!)
Enjoy comic-ing:)
Love,
Beanhead
And so "The Adventures of Beanhead" was born!
PS- Sorry for the JACKED UP drawing, but I am artistically challenged :)

Hey babe- here is my artistically challenged half of the collaboration! I don't know how to add to the body of the text, so I'm just writing in here. Let me know what I still need to do! Love ya, SJ

This is a good completion. It is also a good task.
