Journey to the End of the Night: Vienna 2010 by daskleine ichbinich

This was my second run and it was as awesome as the first one.
After the start we went out on the main entrance of the park and run into the first chasers. Our team moved north to the "Starkfriedgasse". The rain and the outlook created a very scaring atmosphere. As we approached the "Türkenschanzpark" I got very paranoid, as I remembered the very high chaser count from the last Journey. But we entered the park without seeing a chaser.
Carefully we left the park on the far east entrance and tried to enter the second safe zone from north east. Seeing people running in the parallel streets, we started to run too and reached the safe zone.
We decided to take the tram out of the safe zone to avoid the chasers around the checkpoint, but some chasers joined us in the tram. We discussed our options and decided to make a breakout at "Johann-Nepomuk-Berger-Platz". Hunted by three or four chasers we got scattered and the blue soul of one of our team mates was lost. The rain started to be very strong and made it very difficult to identify chasers. With three out of five teammates we moved north. As we tried to enter the safe zone of the third checkpoint, we got chased again, but luckily made it into the safe zone. Another teammate made it too.
Soaked wet we didn't made plans how we should approach the forth checkpoint . We went with the tram to "Thailiastraße/Feßtgasse" and tried to outrun the chasers. After running a few minutes we found ourself in front of a bus station filled with chasers. One of us started to run and three of us hid behind the advertisement on the bus station. Another one of us tried to sneak behind the bus station, but got tagged by a chaser jumping out from the back of the station. I took my chance, ran past them, past the teammate who tried to run first and got tagged and mad it into the safe zone.
Together we decided to give up.
Thanks to the organizers!
