The Darrow Lands are an all-but-forgotten corner of the Kingdom of Jabez. Its many mountains and valleys, once rich with precious stones and metals, now yield little more than dust. Lord Dunsen proudly commands what remains of the mining excavations, sitting proudly in his lofty throne atop Muldrow Butte. Estarel Castle remains the only sign of civilization in Dunsen's dying country, looking out upon Lake Vinvelas, the only source of life to the tainted lands. Even the mighty lake has begun to darken, filled with years of sludge from mining in the nearby hills...
