Hmmm... Eat a food that frightens me...

I accepted this challenge knowing that it's gonna be kind of difficult to find a scary food. I was a military brat, so I moved around a lot. In Korea, I had a burger made of unknown meat. In Japan, I had sweet-bean doughnuts as well as things like grilled squid-on-a-stick and some "delicacy" that dyed everything in it an olive green.

(Mind you, one time my mother's English students took her out to a bar and gave her some fish sperm, so I didn't have anything like that.)

So I went to the grocery store looking for something I wouldn't normally eat.

And I found sardines.

They sound nasty, they look nasty, and (after trying them), they taste nasty.
