One Letter Off by simon johnson

I've always wanted to add an "I" to a "TO LET" sign but i thought that was a little too obvious here so i decided to do the inverse.
There is a classic iron urinal in the park near my house. Most of these old toilets have been removed from public places now for fear of what people might get up to in them. But i live in a nice friendly leafy liberal part of town and ours is still intact. So my plan was to highlight the TO and the LET and leave out the I. But on investigation this object is clearly from a time before people were stupid as it seems to need no sign at all to let its clients know what it is for.
Not to be put off i decided to add my own sign. Now this is a listed building so i thought i should keep it all in good taste. I decided to further embue my sign with englishness. The saying of course when you need to use one of these facilities is to spend a penny. I took out my penny jar and armed myself with a good old tube of super glue. Thus with a couple of dozen effigies of Queen Elizebeth the 2nd i created my splendid spend a penny To LET sign out in front of the building deftly leaving out that meaning changing "I".
There are are 33 spent pennies making up my new sign the oldest of which was minted in 1979. the oddest of which is a Faulkland islands penny.
As i was gluing the coins in place a friend of mine happend by and asked what i was doing. when i explained i was writing a TO LET sign in spent pennies on the toilet. She said "thats great" and then promised to come down in the morning with a marker and draw in the missing i for me... winner. If the lost i appears i'll post up a pic.

This is brilliant. Why does it not have more votes?
There is a VERY large "to let" sign across the windows of the top floor of a tall building outside my house. I have been sorely tempted to sneak my way in and paint a giant red "i" in between. Maybe, one day...
