INSTRUCTIONS: Form an intimate relationship with an inanimate object.

For 15 years I have been actively in a relationship with my favorite thing in the world: drums. For the past 7 years or so, I have consumated this relationship with my pristine and immaculate set of pork pie drums.

While I do find it slightly ironic that my bond is so strong for something I continually beat with small bits of wood, the joy it brings me and the wonders it has filled my life with are immeasurable. In the event of a natural disaster (or pre-planned Bush attack on the U.S.) I have decided to forsake all my posessions minus three (in order of importance):

my drums

my girlfriend

my cat

all else be damned. I have a variety of images documenting my open love of fine maple, metal, and bronze.

But the real question is....did you form this relationship specifically for SF0? Unfotunately, i'd have to say 'no.' Therefore.....legit task completion? I will allow the masses to speak on this matter.....

Being a fellow drummer and musician, I completely understand the type of intimate relationship one can have with instruments.

Here's my view: I consider this a legit completion because you have indeed formed an intimate relationship with an inanimate object, and it is not the type of truly retroactive completion that was merely comprised of dug up work from the past that could double as a task completion. Instead, it is a relationship you must continue to maintain, even through your SF0 experience, so it's not entirely retroactive.

However, due to the fact that it didn't take any deviance whatsoever from your routine daily life, I don't find this vote worthy at all. I almost voted for the drum set, though. Awesome set, dude.
