I don't currently work, and I am looking for work.
Work is strange.. life is strange..
you hear so many different ways of people finding work
pound the pavement
network
open a parachute
lie about who you are
whatever you do, don't be honest

And I have not had the experience of a personal contact working out into a job
not like this at least..
a few months back, an old and trusted friend
told me of a position opening up at his site

he'd never really been open about what he does
just that it dealt with things that interest me as well
computers and servers, possibly a bit shady
it's a legit biz though, as long as they pay me

finally got off my ass, submitted my resume
and harassed. and harassed. and harassed some more.
still nothing. i let it go and decided they already found someone else.
on tuesday i get a call. holy crap it's them.
interview is set for wed morning.
wed morning comes...

i think the interview went well..
