A very refreshing and thought-provoking take on the task, Bravo.

An excellent idea.

I'd vote higher if you had taken the time to make the added letters more prominent/permanent, but I really like the idea.

Bryce, I think this is what Ben, Ty Odin, myself, and others mean when we criticize how you're putting people down. Lincoln was supportive, encouraging, and most importantly, said in clear and positive terms what he thought should be improved. He didn't proclaim something lame or boring, he offered, to use a term, constructive criticism. The 'constructive' part of that term is much more important than the 'criticism' part, is the thing.

I think this works more as practice for the task than the task itself. Its good proof of concept, but even cooler would have been to set up a series of such screens, or perhaps a series of different materials (streamers, paper, perforated cloth, saran wrap, etc) and then run through that.
