Acquisitions by Cameron

Going in reverse chronological order:
A Bus Transfer: Used to take the train downtown to purchase some replacement jeans, as my keys finally poked through the rapidly widening hole in my pocket
New Sunglasses: Exactly the same as before (5.99 at Walgreens) to replace the set I stepped on. I find there's an inverse realtion between the price of sunglasses and the length of time I keep them.
New Clothes: The Jeans mentioned previously, and the shirt I did not need but had to get. I love linen, and hey, it's getting summer-y out.
A Feast for Crows: Was waiting for the paperback, but found it for 8 bucks at a discount bookstore. It's been years since I read the three preceding books, and after a few pages, I was hopelessly lost. So I'm starting the whole series over again
12 Pack of Session Beer: Made by the worker owned Full Sail brewery. Tasty, cheap, and in a cute stubby bottle. Consumed over the course of the week.
A Blockbuster Discount Card: God only knows why they sent it; but it was used to temporarliy accquire four movies, consumed over the course of the week.
Five Fists Of Science: I swear to you - This is a comic about Mark Twain and Nikola Tesla fighting Thomas Edison and Andrew Carnegie. Tesla has a giant robot. Edison has a captured Yeti. Seriously.
Skyscrapers of the Midwest, Vol 3: Ugh, I hurt just thinking about it. Painfully beautiful comic about growing up. Caution: Contains Metaphorical Robots.
One Dentist Card: Complete with next appointment. Ugh.
Two New Fillings: Because for a while, it hurt to chew.
This was a big week for acquisitions, aside from my usual wednesday comics and occaisonal beer, I had to replace a lot of things that had vanished or gone sour. I notice that if I don't need things, I acquire almost nothing; but once I set out to get one or two nessecary items, I end up bringing home a lot more. I have poor impulse control
I sorta cheated here, and stretched the period to nine days to include my awesome Teeth Self Portrait. Have mercy on me.

All the best sunglasses cost less than 10 bucks.
