Plant A Tree by Cameron
June 4th, 2006 3:16 PM
I recently found a small cypress shoot at the foot of a much larger tree recently. I knew it would be eventually choked out by it's parent's root structure, so I transplanted it to Land's End, into a shady, but open copse where it has a much better chance of survival.
This breed of Cypress is Native to California: Cupressus macrocarpa (Monterey Cypress)
To keep him company, I also planted a sprouted onion we had around the house nearby. My hope is that they will be the very best of friends.
