this entire thing is made out of wet paper pulp stuck on cheese cloth. the paper pulp is dyed with dilluted variations of black india ink. in only 5 or 6 shades. the fine lines are done with string. of course it dries and is one piece of super thick paper.

Lovely, indeed. I'd like to see a high-resolution version if it wouldn't be any trouble. Is this a painting of a photograph? Good show.
