Get up, Take a shower, Eat Breakfast, Go to work by evilweavil

INSTRUCTIONS: Do something that you've done more times than you can count, but do it a way that you've never heard of.

The last few days have been really busy for me and subsequently the house has not been maintained as well as it should have been. This being my only day off work for the next 7 days I had planned to take care of the hideous pile of washing up which was taking over my kitchen..and had began growling at me if i dared to get too close. However, on opening the front door to take my little one to school I was amazed to see it was actually snowing. For those of you who dont know, I live on the Isle of Wight and it hardly EVER snows here..and even when it does it doesn't lay properly. Just turns to icey slush of death determined to slip you up and really ruin your day. This was actual flakes and the ground was quite substantially covered :) I decided it would be a terrible waste to spend this beautiful day inside doing the housework when I should be out making the most of this rare occasion, so i enlisted the help of a fellow SF0 junky and set off to have fun in the snow...and do some washing up at the same time, thereby relieving my guilt :)

sadly the snow had began to thin out and i had to drag some together to use..creating a rather bare patch around me. We were also in a sand park so there were slight gritty issues, but hey they helped with the scrubbing effect :)

of course i had to dry up aswell

Is that really your kitchen? I've never seen it so neat.

It was beautiful. On my side of the Island we had the most magical snow ever. It didn't settle till last night but when it did it was a couple of inches deep and all fluffy and perfect and when you shone a torch on it you could see every individual flake glittering back at you, each one it's own little perfect symetrical shape. I've seen lots of snow before but never as magical as that. Also, I got to go round the garden and look at the animal tracks where my Nan puts food out every night for the foxes and the badgers and the stray cats, and see who realy comes to eat it. I actually snuck up on the badger and I could hear it munchity-crunchitying, it was very cute!
Yay for washing up in the snow.
Got to be brighter than Scotts idea for this task!
(for those of you who don't know, you'll just have to wait and see!)
NOw its raining on whats left of the snow. That's sad.
