The Taking Tree by evilweavil
January 30th, 2009 6:51 AMI spent yesterday evening trying to explain the wonders of SF0 to my mother, but like most people who have never experienced the joy of tasking for themselves, she didn't really grasp the concept. To rectify this I enlisted her help with todays task, but sadly she was a little too camera shy to be caught in the footage. Still, its a step in the right direction!
Whilst doing some shopping for work yesterday i spotted these awesome little rubber snakeys in a toy shop, and decided it would be great to hide some in trees. For my location I chose the local park, which youths on various mind altering substances often like to frequent...oh how I wish I could be there to observe them when they spot little multi coloured snakes appearing out of the bushes :)
Of course they could also be a nice surprise for the little kiddies who play there in the day. Either way they should bring various people some joy over the coming weekend....and hopefully not cause too many heart attacks to the old ladies walking their pocket size poochies.
my first snakey!

i wanted to video this little blighter wrapping himself round the branches, but didnt want to risk running out of battery before doing all 10...as this would have been very upsetting!
snakey number 2

This one was outside somebodys window so i had to be quick. Didnt want them to think i was a random perve hiding in the tree outside their house
number 3

This tree was perfect as it had lots of flakey layers to hide my 3rd snakey in. Sadly did not look very healthy though :(
number 6

This tree had somebody's lost glove in it...i really hope they come back to claim it and find number 6 living inside!
just a quicky

After leaving the park we were walking back along the road and i thought id check to see if the snakes were visible enough to be spotted...id hate for them to go un-noticed forever and get washed/blown away!

Great photos of the snakes in trees. Nice work!
I should be in that neck of the woods tomorrow, I'll have to see if I can spot a snake.
Jolly red snakes.
Joy.
