Language "Encryption" by Formica Dinette

June 1st, 2006 12:44 PM

INSTRUCTIONS: Using online translation tools, "encrypt" some text (that you write or find) by translating it multiple times into different languages and then back into English.

For instance, "The drive to play San Francisco Zero" translated from English to German to French to Italian to English again becomes "The order of Saint game Francisco".

I used "Have I told you lately that I love you?" and translated from English to Spanish to French to Portuguese and back to English which produced: "It has said recently that it wants?"

I used this because my mom always says to me, "Have I told you lately?"

Spanish ¿Le he dicho yo recientemente que te quiero?
French ai-elle dit récemment que veux-je ?
Portuguese tem dito recentemente que quer?

From English to Portuguese to French to German to English for "Have I told you lately?" creates something a little more different:

"I have it legend recently?"
