Language "Encryption" by Future Vandekamp

December 6th, 2006 11:46 AM

INSTRUCTIONS: Using online translation tools, "encrypt" some text (that you write or find) by translating it multiple times into different languages and then back into English.

For instance, "The drive to play San Francisco Zero" translated from English to German to French to Italian to English again becomes "The order of Saint game Francisco".

My original sentence came from my American Heritage Dictionary Desk Calendar. Today's word was petroglyph.

START "A petroglyph is a carving or line drawing on rock, especially one made by prehistoric people."

English to French
French to Arabic
Arabic to Swedish
Swedish to English

END "It bite petroglyphen or lines handholds on cradle, Certain danande one [baalaalnaas] what date accepted."

I am interested in where the punctuation came into play...
